Director - Amalia Kontesi
Written by novelist Jim Green, from a translation by Jack Blackmore, specifically for a modern audience, the play is set in a world of political gangsters, where fear rules and only the brave can defy, disrupt and deliver a technology stolen from the powerful and given to the masses.

Amalia Kontesi is a London and New York-based writer and director. Most recently, Amalia directed plays at Network Theatre and Barons Court Theatre. She has directed readings and overseen workshops of new work at Park Theatre and Arts Depot. Coming up, she’s directing Incomplete by Rebecca Mason at Bridge House Theatre and is delighted to be directing a modern retelling of Prometheus in Chains by Jim Green at The Cecil Hepworth Playhouse. She’s an alumna of the Acting Studio in New York and the Young Vic Neighbourhood Voices programme, as well as a recipient of the VAULT Festival’s People’s Choice Award.
Amalia has been working closely with Jim and Jack to bring Prometheus in Chains to the stage since it's early conception.

Prometheus - Olivia Steele
Olivia Steele is a British-American actor based in London. She graduated Oxford University with First Class Hons in English and is in the midst of graduating with a BA in acting at Rose Bruford.

Silvia Manazzone
A multilingual actor & physical performer, Silvia trained at Guildford School of Acting and HB Studio, New York. Fluent in Italian, English, & Spanish, she draws on a rich cultural background to deliver performances with passion. A key member of ShakeItUp, The Improvised Shakespeare Show, Silvia combines her love for classic theatre with the spontaneity of improv. She has written and produced, as showcased in her original work The Cannoneer. Whether starring in a cross-country rom-com, No Translation Required, or exploring new theatrical traditions, Silvia’s work is a celebration of global storytelling.
Lanre Danmola
Lanre Danmola is a British-Nigerian actor and producer, known for his work in Last Goal Wins (Theatre Peckham), which won the 'Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion Award' at the Pinch Of Vault Festival. His stage credits include A Midsummer Night's Dream(Greenwich Theatre) and Either (Hens and Chickens Theatre), which he co-produced. On-screen, he has appeared in Quiet Life(BBC), The American Presidency with Bill Clinton (The History Channel), and the award-winning short film The C.R.O.W.D. He recently launched his first art exhibition, SIMI, at Chelsea Theatre.
Kieran Dobson
Hailing from Yorkshire, Kieran is an actor who honed his craft at the E15 Acting School. His most recent performance was in 'Still Life With Onions' at the Barons Court Theatre in London; also under the direction of Amalia Kontesi.
Daniel Wain
Daniel’s extensive stage experience includes roles as diverse as Philip Larkin (Larkin with Women), Chief Inspector George Oldfield (The Incident Room), Norman (The Dresser), Rochester (The Libertine), Pato Dooley (The Beauty Queen of Leenane), Eddie Carbone (A View from the Bridge), Robert (Boeing Boeing), Iago, Captain Hook and the title roles of Charles III, Uncle Vanya and Tartuffe. He is a long-standing theatre producer, award-winning public speaker, and director of theatre, opera and short film. Daniel is also a published playwright himself, with the revival of his Look Behind You playing to five-star reviews at the Tabard Theatre, London, earlier this year.
Judith von Orelli
Judith von Orelli holds an MA in Musical Theatre from the Royal Academy of Music and a BA from City of Vienna Conservatoire. She’s performed in the UK and internationally in Musicals, Plays, TV, Adverts, Physical theatre pieces and has created her own work. Credits include: Sophie in Mamma Mia; Drag King Claire in Halbwelt Kultur; Johanna in Sweeney Todd; Lena in Jukebox Heroes; Sarah in Company; Eliza in My Fair Lady; Toulouse-Lautrec in Van Gogh; Anna in Rags and even a Giraffe in the Lion Who Couldn’t Write. She has performed in 5 languages and is looking forward to continue making work with her own company INproductions.
